  • Nature of business: Is your business B2B or B2C? For example, a B2C company might find more benefit via Facebook and Instagram advertising, as compared to a B2B company, for which LinkedIn may be a better alternative.
  • Your advertising goals: Each platform has its own strengths based on what you are trying to achieve – do you want to create brand awareness, show product features and performance, network with business professionals, create a conversation with your customers, sell via your e-commerce website, or do you have some other goals or a mix thereof?
  • Where’s your target audience: If your business sells products that appeal to teenage girls and young women, Snapchat might be a better fit for you, as its demographic is heavily skewed towards 18-35 year old females.
  • Product/ service type: Some products, such as female fashion products might perform well on Pinterest; but if you are a beauty salon, Pinterest might not be the right medium for you.
  • Human resources available: Since it is time-consuming to have an impactful social media presence, you need to consider the size of your team to create meaningful and quality content across multiple channels; or if you hire a social media agency, to oversee and decide strategy for the various platforms.

Social media management costs

Our costs for social media management are based on various factors.

  • Channels/ platforms to be used – Facebook/ Instagram/ Snapchat etc.
  • Whether it involves content creation (posts), or advertising only
  • Whether it includes creative production by us (images/ videos), and the type of videos to be produced
  • Frequency of content posting and creative refresh
  • Number of products/ services to be promoted
  • Advertising languages
  • Target geographies
  • Objectives from social media advertising – awareness/ lead generation/ traffic/ sales or a mix of one or more of these goals
  • Responsibility for community management – whether we will respond to comments from customers

It is for this reason that we do not have standard packages, as the social media management plan for each business is customized after discussions and the specific needs of the business.

In addition to the above factors that determine our fees, social media advertising will also need an ad budget will be payable to Facebook or Instagram or other channel, as applicable. Without an appropriate ad budget, the social media content created will have a very limited reach. The ad budget could be either determined by you based on what you wish to spend, or it can be recommended by us based on some of the factors outlined above.

As a ballpark, for content creation and creative production for 2 posts a week, in English language only, for Facebook and Instagram, promotion of posts via ads, for one geography – you would need a minimum monthly budget of AED 8,000 p.m. including ad spend, our fees and standard creative design.

For Facebook/ Instagram ads only (without content), you would need a minimum monthly budget of AED 5,500 p.m., including ad budget and our fees for ad management and standard creative design.
