The battle for supremacy in AI world
The battle for supremacy just continues … OpenAi may be launching a new version of ChatGPT: Strawberry!
Sam Altman’s teasing quote a few days ago was this: https://x.com/sama/status/1821207141635780938, and that usually means something is brewing, ready for the launch.
To ward of the growing competitors, like Anthropic and Meta, who have started to catch up to GPT-4o, OpenAi’s move is expected. A mystery model has been spotted in the testing arena, and if it is indeed Q*/Strawberry, then we may be approaching another pivotal advancement in AI capacities.
Fun but tiring times ahead! 😅
And, Google is rolling out a new “Take notes for me” feature powered by its Gemini AI for its Google Meet feature, allowing users to focus on the meeting while the AI automatically captures key points. No more taking ,imutes of the meeting. “Take notes for me” is part of the AI Meetings and Messaging add-on, which costs $10 per user/month across most Google Workspace plans.
BTW, I use Otter.ai with the free plan, and it suffices for my monthly meetings 😊
In the meantime, Perplexity which answered over 250 Million questions in July, is now transitioning from a subscription model to an advertising focused model. Google Beware 💣
And all media planners, keep your eyes open…. the fight begins 💪
This is interesting stuff … South Korea is adopting AI-powered digital textbooks, it will be introduced in the new school year starting March 2025 for 5 million students from elementary to high school. With these textbooks, student proficiency levels will be assessed via AI, with extra material provided to those who are lagging behind and higher-level content given to more advanced students. Virtual reality will be added to lessons as well.
The kids these days will grow up in the AI environment, if we want to stay relevant, we have to keep abreast of AI developments. 😎
Here’s a good tip to generate Roadmap ideas
Prompt: I’m working for a product that’s [insert info about your product here, including possible competitors]. The product strategy is to [insert xyz here]. Give me a list of roadmap ideas aligned with this strategy.
Example: I’m working for a product that’s a direct competitor of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6. The product strategy is to become the go-to model for flip phone with AI cutting edge technology. This will come with a better ergonomic grip design and pastel colours. Give me a list of roadmap ideas aligned with this strategy.
A few years ago, it would take the product managers at least a week to generate these ideas and then structure the document correctly. Now, with good prompts, it takes a few minutes. 😊
Okay, I know this comes from Fox News 😉, but it really is credible … watch how an AI clone was interviewed by the Fox Business host:

AI is just going to make things more and more interesting.
Enjoy your week ahead, till next Tuesday.
Do let me know if you guys are enjoying these AI-tidbits. 🙏🏻
